AOQ Queensland Inc, trading as the Queensland Business Improvement Centre (QBIC), conducts business improvement consultancy and auditing services as well as its well known training, seminar and conference programmes.
Types of Consultancies
A register of qualified and AOQ approved consultants enables us
to respond rapidly to any enquiries. Where organisations wish to
achieve quality (ISO 9001) or environmental management (AS 140010)
certification, or to meet Government purchasing requirements the
QBIC can advise on the most appropriate and cost effective approach
as well as providing a list of recommended second and third party
certification organisations.
Our Consultancy Network
QBIC has been the national provider of consultancy services
for a major Commonwealth Government Agency and uses a team of selected
consultants throughout the country.
Together with our current consultants we can assist Clients
who have several State offices. The QBIC is not only able to provide
total co-ordination of activities but also understands the logistic
requirements of both city and rural centres. This enables us
to service regional centres.
Consulting Capability
QBIC consultants are all currently active in the delivery of consultancies
and training associated with the development and maintenance of
management systems and other business improvement programs. It is
these skills that enable them to identify the most appropriate programme
and/or training delivery method needed to match Client needs.
Auditing Capability
QBIC auditors are active in the delivery of systems auditing (quality, environmental, safety, etc) and training associated with the maintenance of management systems and other business improvement programs. Standards include ISO9001, ISO14001.
By choosing AOQ's QBIC, national Clients are able to deal with a single point of contact, and do not have to co-ordinate the activities of various consultants. Where appropriate, programmes can be conducted simultaneously in various Client offices. This co-ordinated activity also enables the AOQ (Qld) to rapidly service any issues that may arise in any State or Territory.
Where appropriate, arrangements can be made for training associated with the proposed programme of consulting activity.

Fees
Consultancy programs can be quoted as complete or staged to suit
a Client's requirements or cost structure. Fees may also be based
on a fixed cost or hourly rate dependent on the proposed activity.
