Strategic Insights from Research and Practice in Lean Six Sigma
On the 22nd August 2008 , the Six Sigma Division of AOQ-Qld will be holding its third one-day conference on the Strategic Insights from Research and Practice in Lean Six Sigma.
To deliver sustainable success in Lean Sigma it is important for the deployment to follow sustainable strategies that have been tested empirically. As such you will hear presentations from practitioners and academics and will be able to understand more about the critical deployment strategies for both large multinational and small and medium sized organizations. The day will be comprised of presentations and workshops.
There will be a range of speakers from manufacturing and finance and universities. The chair of the conference will be Professor Amrik Sohal, who is a well known researcher in operations management with a large number of books and publications to his credit.
The committee who will provide expert guidance to planning of the day include George Potamainakis, who is currently Principal of Process 2 Customer with previous experience in Banking, Dr Lisa Muratore, currently Black Belt Trainer with Segla, Roger Hilton currently Principal at Six Sigma Academy and a Workplace trainer and Assessor, Rob Boyle, Director, Boyle Consulting and Mario Pennisi, Chairman of AOQ QLD.
The conference will be held at the Monash Law Chambers in Bourke Street Melbourne between 8am and 4pm on the 22 nd August 2008 . The cost of the day is $395 for AOQ Members and $445 for non members.
We extend an invitation to all Operations Managers, Lean Sigma Practitioners, Academic Statisticians and researchers and all other interested parties who need to find out how Lean Sigma can help their organizations.
